Director, Data Product (Multiple Locations)
Job Description
What we offer:
- Develop and implement the commercial data strategy and business models to monetize data that will grow revenue for full lifecycle management and services with an optimal commercial contract framework.
- Develop operations strategy on data segments, usability, availability, and efficiency to drive internal and external productivity through defined KPIs.
- Define a plan and process to drive data governance, consistency, and monitoring for internal and external usage with targeted milestones including $375M+ in Cloud and on-prem digital software revenues over a three year period across all of Dematic's product portfolio.
- Develop data procedures and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and other customer requirements.
- Accountable as the entity for certifying systems of record and authoritative data sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Identify 3rd party data providers and consumers, negotiate data sharing agreements and establish data ecosystems to enable access to high quality datasets and data monetization.
- Collaborate closely with product management and software technology teams to bring innovative analytics applications to market and generate new revenue streams for Dematic, improve product performance, and deliver relevant customer outcomes.
- Influence leaders and effectively communicate Dematic's data strategy and process across all levels of the organization and with customers as appropriate
Tasks and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields. MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of leadership experience with a successful history of bringing software and products to market.
- Experience in data management and analytics.
- Experience in the material handling or supply chain industry preferred.
- Proven change leadership, influencing, collaboration, cultural awareness, and communication skills in complex, global, matrix organizations, and at all levels of the organization
- Entrepreneurial and disruptive mindset.
- A good understanding of the software development lifecycle
- An appreciation of project and program management - measuring and agreeing milestones, budgets and resource allocation
