The Director, Digital Analytics will build the strategy and execution plan to take Cambria Digital Analytics capabilities to the next level, offering insight into key performance and trending measures for the front side of our business - sales, sales operations, marketing - while better understanding the competitive landscape and customer engagement trends. Requiring direct presentation and interaction with the highest levels in our company, including the full C-suite, the candidate must have outstanding presentation skills that enable effective storytelling through data.

This leader is responsible for defining and building platform, data collection, reporting/alerting and analytics capabilities that provide meaningful insights on how our business and user experience is performing and identifying opportunities for us to optimize. This leader is a critical member of the Digital Leadership Team and will be a consistent advocate and driver of a data-driven digital sales and marketing framework. To be successful, this leader must possess a combination of strong analytical and technical skills, business intelligence and the ability to communicate findings in a way that allows others to make informed decisions. In addition to executive engagement, this leader will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including digital marketing, digital sales channels, commerce product owners, and business intelligence to measure digital experiences and develop data-powered solutions to inform decisions, personalize customer experiences and optimize results. As a primary leader on the Digital Team, the scope of influence for this role extends beyond the Digital Analytics department and is expected to help the entire organization become more data-driven and digitally savvy.

The successful candidate will build and lead a high performing team responsible for bringing to life a vision of leveraging data and analytics to accelerate our businessThey will feel comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and collaborating to define the best path forward. They must be passionate about digital business models and experience optimization, and they need to have a "can do", roll-up-your-sleeves, action-oriented attitude. Goal will be to transform our digital sales and marketing solutions to leverage machine learning and AI-based algorithms to both monitor performance and drive decision making in real-time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define the strategy and execution plan to transform Cambria's analytics capabilities to accelerate our digital sales and marketing solutions, while increasing awareness and end-to-end measurement
  • Build a high-performing and respected analytics team through consistent progressive development, in-depth coaching, leading by example and strong hiring practices
  • Compile and present digital business performance KPIs and analysis for Cambria's executive leadership team on a quarterly basis (or more frequently as needed)
  • Develop/execute a roadmap to improve our attribution and media measurement, facilitate incrementality testing and adapt to changes in the marketing landscape (e.g. CCPA/GDPR, iOS updates, Firebase changes, GA4)
  • Maintain and improve the data pipelines, integrations and tooling that enable the growth marketing team to leverage new marketing channels, improve targeting and efficiency of spend
  • Create reporting requirements for growth campaigns and work with the data team to coordinate tags, tracking and lead generation
  • Think outside the box to identify opportunities to change our approach to deliver more insights and value
  • Monitor data quality and system integrations to ensure analytical output is accurate and meets the business needs
  • Champion new marketing channel integration, technology software or upgrade features. This includes; testing, post-launch monitoring and configuring tools to enable long term success
  • Own all dashboards, reports and alerts that help to monitor and report on performance across sales and marketing initiatives, with regular cadence of communication to appropriate stakeholders
  • Partner with business owners and delivery teams on project requests and lead analytics approach
  • Identify KPI's across sales and marketing and implement consistent reporting, with focus on leading and lagging indicators
  • Help to instill a data driven culture through education and training

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Expert level capabilities across a broad array of analytics tools, methodologies and approaches
  • Executive level communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to drive insights from data and inform marketing, sales and overall digital business strategy
  • Ability to think strategically about what data is critical to capture; develop understanding of internal data structures and tools
  • Ability to synthesize analysis and present findings and recommendations to multiple audiences
  • Familiarity with the shifting landscape of measurement, analytics and data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Effectively manage a team through coaching, developing and mentoring

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of direct work experience in digital analytics. Minimum of 3 years in people management experience.

Systems: Expert level knowledge in Adobe Analytics or GA/Google Data Studio required. Must have strong experience in multiple of the following areas: Tableau or similar, mastery of Sheets/Excel, Data Attribution, Modeling, Forecasting.
