Director - Digital Experience
Job Description
Working as a Director - Digital Experience at Big Ass Fans is dynamic. You will have responsibility for a team of digital experience managers and digital operations personnel who build, execute, and run all of the experiences within our digital ecosystem. This role reports to the Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) and will collaborate with key partners across the business.
The ideal candidate will be able to go from strategy to development to execution. They will be able to set strategy and get their hands dirty. This role leads the alignment of the overall digital vision and execution of the digital experience across the publicly facing website, bigassfans.com as well as its e-commerce site, influencing and working closely with key partners across Big Ass Fans. This role is also responsible for daily operations of the existing digital experiences to ensure smooth functionality and growth.

Responsibilities
- Partner with key business stakeholders to ensure alignment on roadmaps and end state visions.
- Lead a team of digital experience managers, developers, and operational personnel to define the digital strategy and initiatives roadmap, aligning with senior leaders and key partners to ensure business objectives are clearly defined and met.
- Ensure change management strategy and related activities are well coordinated.
- Assist teams in overcoming roadblocks to ensure timelines and commitments.
- Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.
- Interpret business performance drivers, the competitive landscape, business partner wants and customer needs to develop comprehensive roadmaps.
- Review customer feedback to inform future roadmap items.
- Create documentation to explain and sell vision and roadmaps to the business.
- Utilize your balance of technical knowledge and business acumen and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years relevant work experience in lieu of degree
- Proven experience working in Waterfall and Agile/Scrum environments
- Proven experience with content management systems, product information management systems, and digital assets management platforms
- Prior experience in manufacturing, a plus
- Prior experience with Epicor, SalesForce Sales/Service Clouds, Adobe Magento and Sites, WordPress, JIRA, is a plus
- Experience managing sophisticated and ambiguous initiatives and driving to tangible experiences and benefits
- Skilled in managing, teaching, and motivating a team
- Able to address conflicting ideas with senior leadership and come to a meaningful resolution in the best interest of the business
- Ability to synthesize data to "tell a story" with reported numbers
