Job Summary (General Responsibilities):

The Director, Direct to Consumer will be responsible for building the strategic direction for our Direct to Consumer business with direct control over promotional performance, site design and user experience, and ultimate P&L accountability for Belkin.com.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Define the vision and strategy for Belkin's DTC business
  • Champion the value proposition of DTC across Belkin and with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with other sales/channel leads to mitigate channel conflict
  • Oversee all aspects of the DTC business to drive significant growth in next 3-5 years.
  • Own and deliver the DTC P&L to drive significant and sustainable profitable growth for both new and existing products
  • Plan and manage pricing changes and promotional activity and closely monitor plan performance
  • Partner with Finance to forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margins and review performance
  • Work closely with Planning to manage inventory levels
  • Partner with Product Management teams to develop specific, data driven product assortment for Belkin.com
  • Ensure fulfillment processes meet consumer expectations for delivery times and when needed, identify options to scale existing operations
  • Collaborate with customer service team to understand and address customer inquiries
  • Develop marketing strategy to both attract new and retain existing consumers
  • Lead continuous improvement of site experience
  • Continuously optimize site experience to improve engagement and conversion, in partnership with IT team
  • Develop content calendar and partner with creative teams to develop compelling content and optimize over time
  • Guide "look and feel" of the site in line with brand guidelines
  • Lead an agile pod in developing a backlog of test ideas (e.g., across content, pricing, promo, and assortment) and executing ongoing tests to drive conversion and improve customer satisfaction
  • Own data strategy for DTC
  • Guide IT decisions on platforms, systems and features/tools to support efficient DTC growth
  • Lead, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of e-commerce and digital marketing professionals
  • Have strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence others through data to grow the business
  • Be data-driven, capable of turning insights into clear and compelling action plans, aligning leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Establish an analytics program to monitor and continuously optimize key metrics like LTV, CPA, conversion, and AOV

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of e-Commerce strategy and planning experience with DTC platforms.
  • Experience managing functional sales disciplines with direct reporting lines and responsibilities.
  • Strong financial and strategic planning skills along with a high level of understanding of Internet marketing and overall business development.
  • Travel required, usually for one to three days per month.

Range for this position

$156,129 - $180,000

At Belkin, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. Individual pay is determined by several factors including but not limited to geography, job related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
