Who You Are:
As Nutrabolt’s Director of DEI, you will be responsible for enhancing and leading our global, evidenced-based DEI strategy and initiatives. You should have a track record of advancing cross-functional collaboration, bolstering a culture of inclusion and belonging, and providing subject matter expertise to deliver world class DEI outcomes that bring about impactful change across an organization. You have an incredible passion for DEI, ability to influence change and motivate others, and an understanding and knowledge of DEI as a function. You will balance a creative vision with a long-term strategic outlook grounded in strong, near-term capabilities and ability to articulate results as related to expected KPI’s.
What You're Good At:
- Evolving enterprise-wide DEI vision and strategy to ensure Nutrabolt remains an innovative thought leader
- Overseeing the DEI budget, leading and promoting Nutrabolt’s DEI Council, and cultivating internal and external resources/partnerships
- Preparing presentations, reports, briefing materials, and regular updates for Nutrabolt’s ESG Executive Committee and other executive and senior leadership
- Managing stakeholder expectations and partnering cross-functionally to support alignment with DEI strategy and engagement in DEI initiatives
- Building and leading collaborative programming that reflects the customers and communities we serve and fosters a more inclusive workplace
- Understanding and employing recognized project management standards (scope, scheduling, planning, time management, resource management, communication, and cost management)
- Assessing and utilizing data to promote innovation on DEI trends, issues, and solutions, as well as establishing goals and metrics against which progress can be measured
- Demonstrating resilience and agility to drive and adapt to change while cultivating a culture of continuous improvement
- Shaping priorities and developing DEI communications that support strategic objectives and create a positive impact
- Growing an understanding of difficult concepts/issues and creating a welcoming environment for others to share their perspectives
- Enhancing and supporting deployment of Nutrabolt’s DEI learning & development curricula
- Facilitating coaching to leaders, managers, and teams to amplify DEI principles and practices
- In this role your goals and KPIs will be focused around:
- Teammate engagement & learning of DEI initiatives
- Enhanced community engagement and philanthropy
- Increased external social media engagement
- Improved Nutrabolt participation engagement percentage in DEI activities
- Improved URG representation in recruiting, hiring, and mobility
What You Contribute:
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience working within DEI or human resources function
- 3-5+ years managing DEI programs, including managerial experience coaching and leading talent
- Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences or Human Resources preferred
- A motivating attitude for others to examine problems, improvement opportunities, solutions, and plans
- Passion for and/or experience working in and with diverse groups
- Proven experience composing learning materials in a compelling and relatable way
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate and communicate the DEI story
- Ability to solve complex challenges with teammates and internal customers in a change-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Experience building productive partnerships with leaders
- Ability to understand business goals and navigate existing policies, procedures, and interdependencies, while incorporating and influencing new approaches
- Experience leveraging Social Media platforms and non-traditional channels to promote and brand diversity initiatives
- Exceptional writing and presenting complex information into clear and engaging messaging
