Job Description

DIRECTV is seeking a Director of eCommerce Analytics. This critical role is highly focused on digital analytics and forecasting, specifically for DAP and online channels.
The Director is responsible for leading the eCommerce analysts who monitor online marketing trends, analyze statistics, develop strategies for digital marketing campaigns, and track campaign performance. This strategic leader takes ownership of preparing campaign results, creating data visualizations, and presenting insights and findings to Sr Leadership, and colleagues. The Director provides leadership with project forecasting, supporting the eCommerce roadmap to meet their objectives. Furthermore, tracking of strategic initiatives and associated KPI impacts, capital and/or expense funding as well as prepare actual vs. projected budget analysis as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute digital analytics and reporting framework in collaboration with cross functional teams to manage eCommerce channel and campaign performance.
  • Develop forecasting models to project the expected impact of strategic initiatives, including changes to marketing spending, pricing/promotion, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze customer, marketing, and web behavioral data.
  • Manage a team of analysts and prioritize requests for new reports, analysis, and data from business partners.
  • Create dashboards, data visualizations, and campaign and website performance reports, both independently, and through a team of analysts.
  • Communicate and present to colleagues, senior managers, and clients.
  • Identify and execute reporting automation opportunities.
  • Perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling with strong ability to explain variances and identify gaps.

What's Required:
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expert level experience with digital analytics tools and data, with a preference for Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics.
  • Hands on experience with data visualization tools, with a preference for PowerBI and/or Tableau.
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing across social, display, and programmatic platforms.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient collaborator and program leader.
  • Experience synthesizing data trends to identify growth opportunities and forecast results.
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (math, engineering, computer science, business) or marketing preferred, MBA preferred.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote
The US base salary range for this Director of eCommerce Analytics full-time position is $127,965 - $232,415 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
