Director, eCommerce, HA

That is why we are currently seeking the newest innovator to join our dynamic team as Director, eCommerce, Home Appliances located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. This role is Onsite.

The Director of eCommerce provides leadership and guidance to leads and associates to drive sales, e-commerce operations and a positive customer experience. This position will work with internal and external partners to address issues and concerns and continually look for ways to improve the processes and systems. This position will assist in identifying and developing recommendations for optimization as well as serve as a single point of contact for internal eCommerce support. This position will also work with management to develop strategy and long-term planning.

The Director of eCommerce is responsible for developing and managing the operations, positive customer experience, and eCommerce sales of a marketplace store for LG Electronics (LGE) USA and major customers' retail.com.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly communicate with HA Leadership team to discuss strengths, opportunities, and trends in business.
• Lead key eCommerce initiatives across cross-functional teams by proposing, defining, and driving operational projects to completion.
• Drive OBS business to own HA products. Work closely with DXP organization to breakthrough internal challenges to rebuild HA business in OBS.
• Harmonize OBS and retail business to avoid channel conflicts in eCommerce space.
• Amazon/ Wayfair/ Retail.com ownership for small appliances and styler.
• Merchandizing, pricing and running eCommerce business.
• Identify and implement ongoing process improvements that increase sales, reduce expenses, and improve the overall customer experience.
• Collaborates with and supports LG dXp and retail.com site content/merchandising teams to drive constant improvement and growth of lg.com and retail.com eCommerce businesses.
• Design, build, and implement new eCommerce capabilities such as third-party marketplace opportunities, enhancements to existing programs, and/or brand new omnichannel tests.
• Design, build, and optimize operational reporting for all eCommerce initiatives.
• Support cross-functional business partners with ad hoc requests pertaining to eCommerce initiatives and serve as the subject matter expert for all fulfillment and eCommerce operations activities.
• Analyze and track performance metrics to continuously improve the eCommerce business as well as provide ad hoc reporting/analysis as needed or requested by internal and external business partners.
• Increase eCommerce sales by maximizing key indications to reduce cancellation, damage, return, and reship rates.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree is required; MBA preferred
• 15 years experience in a similar field is required
• Experience with appliances is preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Analytical Skills
• Proficient in all MS Office Applications
