Position Summary: Director of Ecommerce Sales- Onsite NJ
We are seeking a Director of Ecommerce Sales to join our growing company. As a Director of Ecommerce Sales, you will lead a team of sales professionals responsible for driving revenue and market share growth in the Ecommerce channel for LG's U.S. Home Entertainment business unit. The role is based in our U.S. headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and reports to the VP of Strategic Sales.
Responsibilities:
- Lead team of sales professional responsible for US-based ecommerce accounts, including Amazon.
- Achieve/exceed sales quotas through proactive management of current and prospective accounts.
- Build relationships with customer C-suite leadership, merchant/buyer teams, and operational departments.
- Implement go-to-market strategies to expand LG's market share in the ecommerce channel.
- Create strategic business plans to achieve/exceed annual revenue and unit targets, as well as individual product category targets aimed at driving #1 market share position.
- Develop and execute go-to market strategies with periodic tracking and reporting to executive management.
- Provide timely observation of sales and market share trends with corrective actions and KPI reporting.
- Facilitate and encourage cross-functional collaboration across departments to ensure maximum support for ecommerce accounts.
- Oversee forecast preparation and accuracy for ecommerce sales team and align with Product Management on inventory production plans. Manage channel and inventory levels to ensure optimized business results got LG and account partners.
- Provide regular business updates and actions plans to executive management, including VP, President and CEO.
Qualifications and Skill Sets:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business / Management disciplines required. MBA preferred.
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills required.
- Proficiency in ecommerce channel management, including route-to-market, marketplace platforms, and emerging ecommerce technologies.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced business environment with ability to pivot to emerging business priorities.
- Ability to manage sales forecasts, budgets, and sales operations functions.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional leadership skills required.
- Strong organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools required.
- Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central preferred.
- Ability to travel internationally.
