RESPONSIBILITIES
As Director, Emerging Accounts, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue for Kroger Precision Marketing through the growth and development of client and agency partnerships. Your sales experience, coupled with your digital media & e-commerce industry expertise will foster strong client relationships, ultimately driving incremental revenue for the company.
To be successful in this role, you will be comfortable leading and inspiring a team, frequently participating in industry events and driving awareness at scale for Kroger Precision Marketing's suite of media solutions.
This job will focus on several key initiatives:
- Responsible for strategic development of KPM's Emerging business unit inclusive of client direct, agency and broker relationships
- Work in partnership with VP of Sales, Emerging AE's, Programmatic and Media Planning teams to reach/exceed KPM revenue targets
- Lead and motivate Emerging Team thru a dynamic and fast pace environment
- Work cross-functionally across 84.51° divisions, specifically Account Management, Data Science, Kroger Merchandising and KPM Commercial and Product Teams
- Establish KPM as a leading brand building and business driving platform in the eyes of all Emerging clients
- Drive awareness for KPM by frequent participation in Conferences, Podcasts, Webinars and Networking Events
- Deliver Financial Forecast to KPM Leadership Team
- Focus on Client C-suite and Executive Leadership Team relationships
- Remain current on advertiser expectations, digital media table stakes and industry demands
- Be at the forefront of supporting the strategic development of KPM sales' go to market strategy and work to ensure it meets the needs of the Emerging clients
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The right person will thrive in a fast-paced environment and must possess the following:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 10+ years of digital media and advertising sales experience
- Proven results of driving and exceeding revenue targets
- Ability to navigate client / agency teams and identify key influencers and champions
- Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of the e-commerce, search and programmatic media landscape
- Existing CPG and Agency relationships preferred
- Open to travel
- Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for commissions.
