Director, Employer Brand Marketing
Job Description
Bond Vet is on a mission to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care. We’re focused on urgent care, so we’re there for pets when they need us most. Our clinics are designed with pets and people in mind: warm, friendly, and highly sniffable. We balance this design with a strong focus on technology, all built in-house, which means we can easily innovate our systems to improve the veterinary team, pet, and client experience.
About the Role:
Bond Vet is building the next generation of veterinary clinics from the ground up — and we’re looking for a motivated Director, Employer Brand Marketing to join our team. Our in-clinic team - Vets, Nurses, and Vet Assistants - represent the lifeblood of Bond and this position plays a critical role in communicating to them why we’re such a special place to grow their careers.Â
Partnering closely with our Recruiting team, this leader will have the opportunity to develop and execute a strategy to build awareness of our employer brand, demonstrate our key points of difference, and generate qualified leads for Vets, Nurses, and Assistants, all in support of our existing clinics and on-going expansion efforts.Â
You’ll be supported by a team of two direct reports and the broader Marketing team as a whole, providing you with the resources necessary to make an impact. This is a high visibility position with the opportunity to make a significant impact on the trajectory of Bond Vet.
While we are headquartered in NYC, this role can be performed remotely with 30% travel.
What You’ll Do:- Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment brand marketing strategy to drive the acquisition of qualified leads for our Vet, Nurse, and Assistant requirements
- Partner closely with VP, Talent Acquisition, SVP, Marketing, and key recruiters to align on prioritization of efforts based upon needs
- Lead the creation and implementation of content, event, and conference strategies in support of overall objectives
- Serve as the Marketing partner for our campus efforts, facilitating the creation of collateral and other materials as required
- Planning and overseeing the production of all printed recruiting materials, including brochures, fliers, and ads
- Own top-of-funnel reporting for key recruitment marketing KPIs, serving as the voice of the function to the organization
- Provide CRM Support - including reporting and creating and scheduling communication/events from the CRMÂ
- Enriching our careers page and social media accounts with multimedia, posts and employee testimonials
- Coach and mentor two direct reports with a focus on continual growth
- 10 years' of brand marketing experience, preferably with experience in or exposure to recruitment marketing or supporting the efforts of a talent acquisition organizationÂ
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience working with project management software (e.g. Monday, Notion), creative solutions (e.g. Canva), and recruiting software (e.g. Gem, greenhouse)
- Proven track record of optimizing employer brand awarenessÂ
- A partnership mindset, an iterative approach, and an ability to shift from strategy to execution with ease
- Ideally an understanding of the Veterinary industry and the needs of its professionals
We Offer:
- Support for your physical and mental wellness: 100% covered health insurance, low cost dental & vision, access to mental health support programs and free memberships to One Medical
- Time for you and loved ones: great PTO, fully paid parental leave, discounted Bond Vet services for petsÂ
- Dedication to your financial future: competitive pay, 401k match, commuter benefits
- A place to grow: culture that is centered in learning and development, career pathing, mentorships, empowerment and trust
