Director, Sales Enablement, Communications & Change Management

As Director of Sales Enablement at SADA, you will be responsible for equipping our Customer Growth Organization (CGO) roles with the knowledge and skills for successful business outcomes.  This leader will also play a key role in crafting and managing internal communications and change management. You will work cross-functionally to create scalable programs and change management processes focused on increasing field productivity, efficiency, and measurable results.

About the Role

The Sales Enablement team supports the Customer Growth Organization (CGO) and is responsible for crafting an end-to-end role-based sales enablement journey and curriculum.  In this role, you will work closely with CGO leaders and cross-functional teams to drive both strategy and execution of internal communications and change management efforts focused on our engagement model with customers and partners. You will use your communications skills to amplify our culture and strategic vision, help to foster connections amongst teams and drive business results. You will drive the sales enablement strategy that implements best practices in enablement methods and delivery tools, assesses skill gaps and supports additional enablement needs aligned to company wide initiatives.

Your Role:  

Develop, implement, and manage the ongoing internal communications cadence for the CGO organization, including newsletters, social, content messaging and platforms to ensure that all content and courses are easy to find and always up to date.

Build change management, communications and engagement programs that drive business outcomes, informs, motivates, engages, and inspires employees.

Ensure that all content is the highest quality, is creative and compelling, cultivates strong relationships through an excellent end-to-end experience, and aligns with corporate messaging.

Quantify communication and change management success metrics.

Work closely with leadership to help convey the vision, progress, and current state for the enablement organization in a consistent, compelling, and transparent way.

Promote key initiatives for global enablement. These include enablement communications, communications strategies, and cross-enablement processes and programs; as well as drafting key messaging, presentations, talk tracks, FAQs, and other materials.

Support operational meetings and company-wide Enablement experiences including All Hands Calls, Quarterly Business Reviews, Town Halls and other communication events.

Ensure messaging is aligned, consistent, and strategic across all communications.

Have outstanding interpersonal skills, project management skills, and writing skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects, and work comfortably with senior leadership.

Required Experiences

  •       Strong executive communication skills, including having the ability to both validate existing hypotheses and uncover new insights, deliver clear, compelling, and articulate written and verbal communications
  •       Ability to lead a team effectively and provide direction to other members of the team with a strong track record of leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities
  •       Ability to quickly build consensus and take decisive actions
  •       Plan and drive sales enablement programs globally, to align to field priorities and corporate strategic imperatives.
  •       Hire, develop and coach the Enablement organization, leading a world-class team of enablement professionals
  •       Facilitate successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring that a well-defined, efficient sales process, communications and change management plan is in place for launch
  •       Foster an organization of continuous process improvement
  •       Liaise, coordinate and drive with marketing and HR stakeholders as it relates to sales programs, content and communications
  •       Develop the agenda and programming for annual Sales Kickoff and Sales Related Events
  •       Skill to persuasively influence teams along with the ability to build enthusiasm for new plans

 

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of sales enablement, communications and change management experience in the Technology Industry.
  • Change Management Certification such as Prosci Methodology is a plus 
  • A dynamic leader who can think strategically while rolling up their sleeves.
  • Lead virtual and geographically diverse teams in disparate time zones.
  • History of success in leading sales enablement initiatives, leadership development,
  • Kick-Off events and training evaluation.
  • Extensive knowledge and a desire to stay ahead of sales enablement technologies, processes, and best practices.
  • High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.

Expectations

Required Travel - Up to 20% travel to customer sites, Google offices, and other related events.
