Director, Enterprise M&A

The Director, Enterprise M&A, will lead acquisitions and other strategic transactions with enterprise-level impact. The Director will be responsible for working with the Executive Leadership Team, senior business leaders and investment bankers, consultants and other intermediaries to build a pipeline of potential transactions. He or she will be responsible for leading the evaluation and execution of each transaction and then developing, implementing and managing the integration plan. The Director, who will report to the CFO, will be a key thought partner to the ELT.

Location
  • This role will be based in Boston with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with the ELT and senior business leaders to understand enterprise objectives and short- and long-term business priorities;
  • Develop and implement a robust, repeatable process to identify and evaluate potential transactions, including a rigorous idea generation and screening process;
  • Cultivate relationships with investment bankers, consultants and other intermediaries to ensure 'deal flow' and establish Biofourmis as 'partner of choice';
  • Develop and maintain target lists;
  • Lead business, financial and operational due diligence for potential transactions, including the interim and final due diligence 'read outs' to the ELT;
  • Develop standalone and pro forma financial models, including multiple business cases
  • Assist with the negotiation of term sheets, definitive agreements, etc.;
  • Develop, implement and manage the integration plan, including the communication of project progress against to-be-agreed KPIs; and
  • Assist on ad hoc strategy and M&A projects as needed.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred;
  • MBA is preferred, but not required;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate development or M&A at an acquisitive corporate or investment bank;
  • Strong experience building and leading teams to execute all aspects of acquisitions and other strategic transactions;
  • Direct experience in M&A negotiations;
  • Experience in digital therapeutics, virtual care delivery, digital health, consumer health, or medical device development;
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in financial modeling;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills;
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong sense of accountability, at both the personal and team levels;
  • Puts in extra effort when needed to meet agreed-upon deadlines; and
  • Resilient team player who can juggle multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
