Director, Enterprise Technology
Job Description
The Director of Enterprise Technology reports to the Vice President of Enterprise Technology and is responsible for leading the evolution of the HR Technology through active digital transformation and integration efforts. This leader will spearhead the integration of various business and functional silos and build the HR technology roadmap. This roadmap will enable our short term and long-term HR digital transformation efforts leading to vendor consolidation, cost reduction, and technology optimization. This includes capabilities to support all of the HR processes, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning, Compensation, Benefits Management, Workforce Management of all employee types, and Self-Service. As the Digital Partner to a very large HR community, the primary responsibilities include:
- Integrate multiple HR teams to drive transformational change across HR capabilities, be a champion of the Technology Transformation Strategy to drive cost and operational efficiencies while elevating the cast experience.
- Understand Human Resources business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state), and determine corresponding technology strategy to drive the HR organization's targeted business outcomes that aligns with Enterprise Technology's vision and approach.
- Identify the organizational impact and financial impact of the technology solutions portfolio, and develop plans with various HR leadership teams to manage the impact effectively.
- Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving HR business and operating models.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, vision and direction to the HR Digital Integration team. This team will ensure Business and Technology goals are met. Goals include cost efficiencies, highest level of cyber security, vendor consolidation, technology modernization and elevating the employee experience as a result.
- Develop an integrated technology strategy and roadmap across various HR functions and segments. This leader will set priorities, oversee projects as needed, partner on adoption plans to maximize value for the HR organization.
- Serve as an integration leader across various HR stakeholders to define a prioritized set of business outcomes. Build and communicate the plan to achieve those outcomes.
- Ensure successful delivery of these business outcomes in partnership with HR stakeholders and rest of the IT organization.
- Lead the on-going assessment, governance and consolidation of the technical capabilities, their associated costs and risks, and rationalize them to maximize the efficiencies and business contribution.
- Lead user research and product user interface design across technologies to bring best in class employee experience while consolidating technologies
- Partner with the Global Information Security team to ensure that the HR IT applications are effectively secured and that risks are mitigated.
- Manage HR IT personnel, developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the HR organization, as well as recruit talent to address new needs and skills gaps.
- Responsible for financial management including AOP, ongoing budgets, and forecasting for HR IT.
- Manage relationships with major HR IT vendors and service providers to ensure they cost-effectively meet the needs of the organization.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in managing large, complex projects and team members, and the ability to formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written presentations
- Strong orientation to stakeholder success and accustomed to taking an active role in executing projects
- Excellent team building, mentoring, and leadership abilities
- Proven ability to lead teams through organizational and technology changes
The hiring range for this position in California is $188,900.00 to $241,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
