Job Description
The Director of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) provides leadership to the Company's enterprise risk management function by overseeing and expanding the implementation of ERM programs and promoting a company-wide risk culture among the board of directors, senior management, business units and corporate staffs. They will partner with the Company's executive leadership team to ensure that risks are identified and considered in the development of the strategic vision, and they will proactively manage to balance both the threats and opportunities of the enterprise. In managing the program, they will facilitate the organization's definition of risk appetite and tolerance, coordinate risk assessments, identify the operational and strategic risks, provide leadership to the Risk Management Committee, facilitate the prioritization of risks and identification of risk owners, and develop and communicate risk reports to management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the Company's enterprise risk management program, including governance, processes, and continuous improvement
- Support the board of directors and Company executives is the identification and mitigation of specific enterprise risks
- Identify and maintain the Company's risk appetites and risk tolerances to align with organization's strategy and business objectives
- Analyze and classify risks in terms of frequency and potential severity; measure and determine the financial impact of risks on the Company
- Develop key risk indicators to provide an early warning system of the firm's top enterprise risks; work with other stakeholders, such as Internal Audit and Compliance, to execute against the framework
- Lead the development of automated tools to standardize risk reporting across the Company; prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on the state of enterprise risk throughout the Company
- Provide support to the Risk Management Committee, which is comprised of the CEO, CFO and General Counsel
- Train and ensure all assigned business units and all employees are aware of their responsibilities to understand and manage the key risks within their businesses
- Ensure risk management is incorporated into leadership standards and corporate values
Work Experience
- Developing and implementing enterprise risk management programs
- Establishing and implementing best practice risk management principles and practices
- Work for a global company with manufacturing operations
- Experience with SAP, or at a minimum, another sophisticated enterprise system and modern treasury management systems

Min. Qualifications
- University degree; graduate degree is preferred
