About the Job

As our Director of Expert Knowledge on the Startup Operations team, you will play a crucial role at Redesign Health in our mission to radically empower founders to build the greatest and highest-impact healthcare companies in the world. A critical component of their success is their ability to efficiently and effectively make use of the knowledge from internal and external experts and from the "built on Redesign Health" companies that have come before them. You'll lead the Expert Knowledge/Solutions team and be responsible for setting the strategy, codifying, managing, and disseminating our knowledge content. With this initiative in mind, you will coordinate the gathering of key research, best practices, and insights across the organization and guide the creation of the enablement resources. This content will aim to provide meaningful, relevant, and timely self-service information for our healthcare company founding teams in the form of how-to guides, playbooks, templates, recordings, podcasts, and other media. We'll be looking to you for providing thought leadership and ensuring the overall progress, quality, usage, and impact of this fundamental expert knowledge library.

This role will report directly to the Head of Startup Operations and be part of the Startup Success department. This is a critical new role in the organization to lead a recently formed team that will provide a competitive advantage to our companies and scale Redesign Health to continue our mission of transforming healthcare.

What you’ll do:
  • Determine the content strategy for the Expert Knowledge Library and oversee the creation process
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts to gather valuable insights, best practices, and resources for the content
  • Build, develop, and inspire the content team responsible for executing the strategy
  • Implement an agile process to develop high-quality content on a timely basis
  • Ensure the Expert Knowledge Library's usability, monitor user needs, and enforce quality standards to measure effectiveness over time. Additionally, partner with the Technology team to set up the Expert Knowledge technology roadmap, incorporating new tools like AI
What you’ll need:
  • You hold 7+ years of experience in creating and editing business content and training materials, such as reference guides, publications, playbooks, templates, videos, etc.
  • You have 5+ years of experience managing people; specifically writers and editors
  • You have proven success in setting the strategic direction and technical execution within Knowledge and Learning material
  • You have a proven track record in running expert knowledge or content production teams and processes at scale

  • You are skilled at taking initiatives from 0 to 1 and have demonstrated the ability to do so multiple times in different contexts
  • You excel at collaborating with leaders and experts across the organization
  • You have deep knowledge with Content Management Systems or Learning Management Systems and are passionate about exploring technology tools to increase the efficiency of your team

Full-time base salary range of $151,000 plus a competitive equity & benefits package listed under the "Why work with us?" section.
