Job DescriptionThe Director of Field Marketing is responsible for leading Quantum-Si’s field marketing efforts. This includes developing and executing field marketing strategies, managing field marketing budgets, and working with sales and product teams to ensure that field marketing activities are aligned with the company's overall marketing goals.
As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:
- Develop and execute field marketing strategies for our protein sequencing platform inclusive of: tradeshows, conferences, symposiums, lunch and learns, road shows, customer events, and webinars
- Brainstorm, develop and execute meaningful multi-channel marketing plans per region in conjunction with technical marketing to drive pipeline acceleration and impact near-term revenue
- Interpret market data and input from the field sales team to effectively leverage into marketing programs/action plans
- Manage field marketing budgets and track campaign spending.
- Work with sales and product teams to ensure that field marketing activities are aligned with the company's overall marketing goals.
- Develop and manage field marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and case studies.
- Build and maintain relationships with key influencers and decision-makers in proteomics/protein sequencing
- Report and monitor campaign performance (KPI’s) and implement improvements in order to optimize campaign return on investment (ROI), and improve business impact
- Participate in quarterly and annual strategic planning
- Other duties as assigned.
- Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field; life science degree preferred. MBA or other related degree in business, marketing, communications preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of related experience.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns. Travel will be required
- Proven track record and experience in leading campaign development and execution
- Sales experience, clinical or research experience in a life science discipline, proteomics, genomics experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written

The estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $160,000-$215,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, level of the position, an individual’s skills, knowledge and abilities, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all full-time employees are eligible for our discretionary bonus program and equity as part of the compensation package.
