What You'll Do
Responsible for day to day management of all Corporate finance responsibilities. Manages all Corporate finance processes, and is responsible for maintenance and enhancements to OCC financial systems. Works closely with the Executive Director, Finance on process improvements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
Develop and communicate the budget process, including timeline and business inputs
Create and communicate budget reports that align with strategic goals of the organization
Create and prepare C-level and board reporting to review financial results compared with budget, forecast, and prior year
Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document explanations for senior leadership. Provide insight into the business that informs decision making at the highest levels
Work with Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to enhance the risk and control environment and provide business leadership to control initiatives
Create and maintain policies, procedures, and controls development and monitoring for areas of oversight
Ensure each functional area within their areas of responsibility meets its goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, OCC quality standards, and corporate policies and procedures
Work collaboratively with other departments to remediate any internal or external audit findings that impact the Corporate Finance departments
Evaluate key financial systems and implements enhancements to maximize productivity
Work with Executive Director, Finance to ensure key financial systems are in sync and effective in managing the needs of both the Finance and Accounting departments
Lead Finance efforts for any new financial system implementations or significant changes to existing financial systems
Assist with annual financial statement footnotes dealing with financial instruments
Mentor, coach and oversee professional development of staff
Develop ad-hoc financial models, including cash flow and P&L views
Perform other duties as requested
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise a team of 3-4 people

Qualifications & Experience
[Required] Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and delegate duties
[Required] Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
[Required] Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
[Required] Strong understanding of statistical concepts
[Required] Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
[Required] Understands the importance of team building, both inside and outside the Finance group
Technical Skills & Background
[Required] Proficient with Microsoft Office
[Preferred] Experience with Oracle ERP and PBCS (Planning, Budgeting, Cloud Services)
[Preferred] Knowledge of SQL query writing
Certifications
None Required
Education & Training
[Required] Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in Finance
[Preferred] MBA
[Required] 10+ years of experience in a Corporate finance role
[Required] 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
[Required] Prior financial planning and analysis experience in a mid to large size company
