Director, Finance & Analytics

About You

Nutrafol is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Finance & Analytics to join and help build our growing Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, the Director of Finance & Analytics will be a highly visible leadership role within the Nutrafol Finance organization.

This role will develop and build a team of Finance business partners, driving cross-functional engagement and collaboration. The Director of Finance & Analytics will distill the work of their team into executive-level insights and business recommendations, facilitate the planning and forecasting cycles across the organization, and ensure strategic and operational decisions are adequately assessed for financial impact. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage existing business analyst; make additional hires to further build out team, ensuring competencies align with Nutrafol business needs, culture & values
• Develop and maintain collaborative, collegial relationships with stakeholders/leaders across the business
• Own and facilitate QBR/MBR processes, as well as stakeholder engagement in annual planning and forecasting
• Chief area of focus will be as lead finance business partner in forecasting DTC revenue: demonstrated ability in understanding and operating a cohort-based revenue model is required
• Lead and drive monthly P&L reviews with department heads, so they are equipped with sufficient visibility and insight into their budgets and financial performance
• Provide strategic guidance using analytics initiatives such as business/economic/financial modeling and analysis based on multiple data sources
• Develop and track KPIs, along with their supporting metrics, that drive business performance; communicating what’s working, what’s not, and how to do better

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A roles that involve budgeting/planning, financial modeling, and decision analytics
• Direct experience managing both people and stakeholders
• You’ve thrived in a high-growth eCommerce, CPG company, start-up or recurring revenue-based business
• Experience forecasting retention and analyzing customer LTV, as well as presenting results in a simple and intuitive manner
• Demonstrated ability in understanding and operating a cohort-based revenue model
• Expert-level with Excel and PowerPoint/Slides
• You have experience with an inventory-based business
• You are experienced with Tableau (or other analytics platforms such as Looker, Mode, etc.) and Salesforce
• You've had experience with SQL
