Job Description

We are actively looking to hire a M&A Director  to join the #1 fastest growing CPA firm in the US (Centri - #1 fastest growing firm in the US).  At Centri, we provide the highest quality advisory consulting services to our clients by being reliable and responsive to their needs. Our areas of expertise include financial reporting, internal controls, valuation services, technical accounting research, and CFO and HR Advisory services.  Our approach is to select team members with the appropriate experience to ensure that their fit within our clients’ organization is seamless.

This is an opportunity for someone to play a key role in building out the Firm’s M&A Transaction Advisory practice. In addition, the ideal candidate has a strong desire to build and maintain a book of business. To succeed in this role, you should also have strong coaching and team management skills, as well as the desire to mentor staff

Responsibilities:

  • Delegate, manage and perform the financial due diligence projects to the engagement team members for both public and private companies, as well as other required support materials.
  • Independently provide conclusions and recommendations analyses of target financial data to identify valuation and contractual matters for consideration in evaluating quality of earnings, normalized working capital, and items affecting future cash flows
  • Coordinate with client management on diligence focus areas and provide real-time communications of issues and deal considerations
  • Prepares detailed financial analysis to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions and financing requirements
  • Provide both leadership and coaching to the team.­­­­

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent field
  • Active CPA license preferred 
  • 10 plus year of transaction advisory experience from a public accounting firm or professional services organization
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience of related M&A work required

Salary Statement:

The salary range(s) displayed is/are specifically for those potential hires who will perform work in or reside in the location(s) listed below, if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal salary ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. CPA), for example.

New York City Salary Range: Low: $175,000 - High: $215,000 (NYC)

This position is an exempt position as it relates to the fair labor standards Act.
