The Director of Financial Reporting provides professional management oversight for the financial reporting processes and activities of the organization. This position is responsible for providing financial leadership through the direction ofblue book and other complex financial reports completion. Responsible for thedelivery ofexceptional financial reportingprocesses and reporting for variousconstituentsincluding the Board of Directors. Provides strongleadership and management direction to an engaged and highly effective team.

What you do

  • Build cultivate internal and external relationships to promote and grow the business
  • Oversight and accountability of department plans while focusing on results and measurements
  • Direct and influence associate and business resources to achieve business results
  • Build strategy around the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Ensure overall control environment adheres to regulatory and audit standards
  • Lead innovative programs and direct continuous process improvement
  • Manage and coordinate financial close process and/or other business area process to meet business deadlines
  • Ensure responses are provided to auditors and examiners on inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned


What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 7-10 years of Financial Services experience required
  • 4-7 years of Management experience required
  • Insurance Accounting experience highly preferred
  • Experience leading a Finance Modernization project preferred
  • Oracle experience a plus
