Job Description

Position Summary:

The Director FP&A will serve as a key member of the corporate financial management team. The Director FP&A will work closely and communicate effectively will all levels of the organization in developing budgets, projections, and analysis. Reporting directly to the CFO to ensure the alignment of corporate goals and Arrow’s financial plan, this person will play a critical role as the organization continues to grow and scale.

The Director FP&A will be responsible for leading cross functional work streams focused on Finance Transformation initiatives across the entire organization. This individual will help to support the objectives of the Chief Financial Officer and Board, with a focus on high impact strategic projects.

Responsibilities:

  • A strong partner with the CFO to help grow the business and drive the organization for growth.
  • Ownership of KPI process, measure results and explain variances.
  • Establish reporting cadence with functional leaders.
  • Provide thought leadership and support value creation initiatives across the organization.
  • Provide the decision-making nucleus through financial rigor, procedures and speed to execution
  • Lead annual Financial Planning (Budget) process across the company.
  • Coordinate preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and reporting
  • Develop financial plan collaterals and analysis to identify key drivers and bridge current year expectations to the new year’s budget.
  • Develop financial trend analysis and summaries of results/drivers.
  • Conduct and evaluate what-if analysis of various business scenarios.
  • Utilize pro-forma models for business combinations and other projects.
  • Assist with acquisition diligence and analysis.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and summary presentations to communicate variance drivers and make recommendations to improve performance.
  • Develop root cause analysis and gap closure plans when results are not meeting planned expectations.
  • Conduct operational performance analysis and develop summaries of results and trends
  • Manage systems for financial reporting and data analytics.
  • Capable of moving past barriers, being self-directed/motivated 
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and to handle multiple constituencies/priorities with minimal supervision Provide critical insight and analysis in support of transformation initiatives including the development of hypotheses, proposed work plans, analytics, socialization and implementation planning, and desired output.
  • Present analyses and insights to senior finance leadership, socializing recommendations, and driving to implementation and value creation
  • Develop transformation plans tied closely to EBITDA and working capital improvement, and evaluate both cost reduction and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  • Work closely with the current finance team to drive the implementation strategic initiatives aimed at revisioning finance to align with the overall company strategy

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics. A master's degree in business administration is preferred.
  • Creative, out of the box thinker, with the ability to work across all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and accuracy in work; and time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated team orientation and the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with strict deadlines and multi-tasking.
  • Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, high-growth company.
  • Roll up your sleeves mentality; this is a leadership position but, at times, you will be involved in individual contributor work; this position requires tactical, hands-on execution and a personal drive for results
