About the role:

We are looking for a Director, FP&A to drive all aspects of planning and performance management.ย  You will be responsible for all areas of FP&A, which includes developing financial and business plans, partnering with business leaders across the company and driving analyses for business and strategic issues.ย  By definition, you will be detail and data driven.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with senior leadership team in planning strategic direction
  • Lead annual planning and three-year financial strategic planning
  • Will own rebuilding of the three financial statements and financial model to meet the needs of the company in the future
  • Will take on special high priority projects with leadership visibility
  • Assist in integrating and forecasting margin contribution of content under differing license arrangements
  • Build presentations including analysis to support investor conversations and Board Meetings
  • Lead financial forecasts throughout the year, monthly and quarterly
  • Partner closely with accounting in preparation and reporting of weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual company financial performance reporting and analysis
  • Advance the insight and understanding of Tubiโ€™s KPIs and economics to drive further alignment and accountability across the company
  • Complete ad hoc strategic, financial and operational analyses including new business models, strategic partnership agreements, etc
  • Communicate business risks/opportunities for Tubi by keeping abreast of industry and segment market dynamics
  • Own and evolve current Excel-based planning model while selecting and implementing best-of-breed financial tools and applications
  • Influence user acquisition strategy through analysis of the interaction between CAC, LTV, and retention as well as analysis of how those drivers are influenced by seasonality
  • Understand how changes in viewer behavior influences the trajectory of the business and help prioritize what projects or products the business should invest in and when

Your background:

  • Masterโ€™s degree in Finance or equivalent major; an MBA or CFA is desirable
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive financeaccounting management roles in high-growth compan(ies)
  • Highly competent in Excel: excellent modeling skills and ability to perform complex analyses with big data sets required
  • Must demonstrate analytical prowess, strategic thinking and exceptional attention to details
  • Ability to drive financial ratios and drivers from three financial statements to drive strategic insights
  • Passion for using data to drive better decision making
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfort in communicating with C-level executives
  • Self-motivated and a deep sense of pride in your work
  • Highly capable IC
