The Role

As a Director of FP&A, you will be an integral member of the FP&A group for Worldwide Headquarters group. You will be responsible for providing critical analysis and insights to help drive business decisions at the corporate level. In addition, you will be working and communicating with local finance teams around the world.

What is the work?

• Manage the financial forecasting process and partner with Global Head of FP&A to promote and guide financially informed decisions.
• Manage and enhance reporting, financial models, and analytics to keep pulse of key findings and KPI's.
• Lead the creation and develop of analysis and presentations for executive management.
• Manage the monthly and quarterly review of reporting and explain key impacts in verbal and written communication.
• Partner with key business owners to develop insightful, actionable, and accurate financial analysis.
• Build key business reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Ensure processes and reviews allow for accurate and thorough reporting.
• Collaborate with other members of the Worldwide Headquarters Finance group, including local finance teams in Asia-Pacific, EMEA, Latin America, and North America regions.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting to drive financial results and/or based on immediate need.

Experience that contributes to your success:

• 8+ years of experience in corporate finance and or FP&A.
• Proven ability to connect all data points to identify opportunities and issues and then clearly present the big picture
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, including excel and VBA/macros.
• Experience in Visualization deployments (Power BI or Tableau).
• Experience in predictive analytics a plus.
• Experience in financial reporting systems (SAP BFC, Hyperion, Oracle, etc.).
• Understanding of basic accounting concepts and principles.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills with a flexible interpersonal style to clearly present ideas both verbally and in writing.
• Dissatisfaction with status quo; always looking for a better way to accomplish goals.
• Ability to work independently and/or part of a team to complete multiple projects on time.

In New York City, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $115,000 to $230,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
