Reporting to the CFO, the Director FP&A will lead all financial planning and reporting processes, including annual budgets, long-range planning financial models, operating model and communicate key drivers to the organization to make better business decisions. This position performs critical financial analysis that provides business leaders with an understanding of key performance drivers, costs and returns of important investment initiatives for the business. This role requires a well-organized, detail-oriented strategic thinker who demonstrates initiative in decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills The role is part of the core finance leadership team and has an opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the trajectory of the company.

What you'll do:

• Own the company’s financial operating model to provide analysis and reporting on an annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis.
• Collaborating with business partners to create meaningful metrics to track performance to achieve company financial objectives.
• Lead the company’s annual budget process, including developing key assumptions, working with business partners to ensure budgets are appropriate and that operational partners establish action plans that achieve the necessary financial outputs.
• Lead preparation of monthly and quarterly financial management packages and quarterly business reviews in support of business partners.
• Develop the 3- and 5-year long range plans, including developing the appropriate models and working with executives to reflect business trends in the financial plans.
• Create strategic value-added analyses around growth opportunities, expense optimization and core business metrics to drive better decisions and results.
• Provide insights and trends to identify leading indicators to inform business decisions and improve revenue and profitability.
• Responsible for development and improvement of reports and dashboards.

Who you are:

• 7+ years of Finance and/or Analytic experience preferably in an analytical field or within a retail company’s FP&A group.
• 3+ years management experience preferred.
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Netsuite experience preferred.
• Strong analytical ability; able to synthesize and design analysis to answer specific business questions.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial statements including balance sheets and general ledgers, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and the entire financial close process.
• Ability to manage and lead a high performing team.
• Strong financial modeling with Excel/Google Sheets; SQL is a plus.
• Ability to cope with pressure and changing priorities.
