Position Overview

Autodesk is disrupting the Design and Manufacturing Industry with Fusion 360, the only cloud-based solution that offers a complete workflow integrating conceptual design, engineering, and manufacturing.

The Fusion 360 business is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a passionate leader to direct the Fusion Sales team for the Americas and Europe. The Fusion Sales Director will be responsible for driving the direct and channel sales of Fusion 360 and Prodsmart. Under the person's leadership, the Fusion direct sales teams located in Denver, Barcelona, and San Jose, Costa Rica drive the sales of new Fusion and Prodsmart subscriptions. Additionally, the Fusion channel sales team works with Autodesk resellers in NAMER, LATAM, and EMEA to drive growth of the Fusion business in the channel.

You will be responsible for building and executing an annual sales plan to drive results against the annual goals. You will evaluate team structure, focus areas, and roles to ensure we are getting the maximum return from the sales resources in AMER and EMEA. You will run a weekly forecasting process and regular pipeline and deal reviews, ensuring the teams are on track to deliver their forecasts. This role will put in place programs for sales coaching and skills enablement, leveraging both in-house and external training resources.

Fusion is a rapidly evolving solution and capturing feedback from our customers is critical to ensure we are developing the product to meet their needs. The Fusion Sales Director will be responsible for gathering the "voice of the customer" and presenting these findings to executive leadership of Industry Strategy and Product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, mentor, and develop world-class talent
  • Lead and coach Sr. Managers and Managers of sales to drive results
  • Optimize sales process to gain maximum results
  • Monitor analytics to understand conversion rates, activity levels, etc. and tweak sales process and structure based on findings
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales Operations to ensure lead flow is optimized and on plan
  • Drive onboarding and training programs to ensure sales team is confident on industry, product, and sales skills
  • Set proper expectations: accurately forecast quarterly revenue targets on a weekly basis

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Exhibit comfort and confidence working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • 10+ Years of software sales experience
  • 3+ years of 2nd line leadership experience with a consistent record of quota attainment
  • Experience in the Design and Manufacturing Industry a plus
  • Track record of leading successful teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $244,100 and $353,320. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
