Director, Global Account Management

Job Summary
The Director, Global Account Management will be responsible for the management, growth, and profitability of a multimillion dollar key account assigned to the position. This individual will work with the supporting Flex sites (production and design) to meet the key performance metrics required by the customer and Flex. The Global Account Manager will have responsibility of growing the relationship with customers, at all levels necessary, to be able to understand their business to know where and how Flex can add value towards their business objectives and to provide proactive solutions to meet customer's business needs while expanding Flex revenue.
What a typical day looks like:
- Monitoring of key milestones ensuring adherence to identified timelines and deliverable of key objectives for specific activities.
- Ensure alignment of defined strategies between the Flex manufacturing sites
- Manage customer relationship on a global basis and is the Customer's single point of contact, globally for all product programs and operational performance issues escalated beyond site Management
- Facilitate internal and external communication between Flex vertical partners.
- Coordinate / manage Global Customer business reviews on a quarterly basis
- Input into Customer Contract development and ensures Contract requirements are adhered to by both operations and customers.
- Co-ordinate full or part system programs, between different Flex organizations (e.g. PCB, Enclosures, B/P, Plastics, Design & Test etc) and functions (e.g. Supply chain, Manufacturing, Design, Quality etc.)
- Identifying additional opportunities within a division/segment or account and support the integrated sales proposal
- Ensure Use and Sharing of best practices and Standardization of Flex and Customer processes and procedures.
- Establish performance measurements for Global PM Organization to maximize profit and reduce liability (CSMP, KOI, P&L etc)
- Demonstrates functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates expertise in multiple areas and industry. Demonstrates proficient knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
- Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Requires a minimum of 10 years of operations or account management experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- P&L ownership and management
- Ability to successfully project manage and operate cross functionally on a global scale
- Ability to develop and execute to project plans given aggressive timelines and minimal oversight
- Customer-focused mindset
- High level analytical and cognitive abilities
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively, learn and develop innovative solutions
- Superior communication skills
