The Director, Global Assistant Treasurer is a newly created position that will report directly to the Corporate Treasurer. This position will have oversight of key functions of the treasury department including: day-to-day treasury operations, liquidity management, cash forecasting, and international finance areas. The Director Treasury will also work closely with various departments including accounting, tax, legal, financial planning and analysis and international teams to ensure that the company's financial objectives are met. The AT will assist in negotiations for all major debt financings and co-manage banking and rating agency relationships as needed by the Treasurer. The AT will have day-to-day responsibility for corporate banking management including oversight of banks fees and services.
What You'll Bring:

• 7-10 years investment or commercial banking experience; or
• 7-10 years corporate treasury experience for a global enterprise
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
• The targeted candidate will have a strong understanding of global Treasury Operations, cash management strategies, short-term investing and cross-border transactions.
• The successful candidate will have a general understanding of finance and accounting principles. Specifically, the candidate must have a solid understanding of financial statements and the interdependencies between the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.
• The candidate must also have strong financial modeling and presentation skills with a high level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• General knowledge of Treasury Management Systems, and Kyriba in particular, is preferred
• Familiarity with debt and equity capital markets including debt agreements (loans, notes, hybrids) is required.
• An understanding of interest rates, currencies and hedging strategies is preferred.
• The candidate should have excellent organizational and time management skills.
• The candidate must be able to lead and develop a team of international treasury professionals.
• The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Impact You'll Make:

• The Assistant Treasurer will lead evaluation and implementation of TransUnion's global cash pooling and in-House banking function
• at the Assistant Treasurer will work closely with the local finance teams and TransUnion's Tax department to ensure timely and tax efficient cash management strategies, cash repatriation through dividends, royalties and intercompany loans, cash flow forecasting, management of signatories and user etc.
• The Assistant Treasurer will lead the effort of setting up a Treasury Center of Excellence according to the framework approved by the Treasurer and CFO and bring it to completion effectively and efficiently
• Manage the company's investment portfolio, including monitoring investment performance, analyzing investment opportunities, and preparing investment reports.
• The Assistant Treasurer will be responsible for treasury technology and continuous improvement including Kyriba, TransUnion's Treasury Management System.
• The Assistant Treasurer will be responsible for Treasury SOX and other compliance as well as FBAR reporting
• The Assistant Treasurer will provide M&A support including day-of-close funds flow execution, M&A integration planning and delivery.
• The Assistant Treasurer will assist the Treasurer in debt and equity capital markets transactions including negotiations, financial analysis and decision support.
• The Assistant Treasurer will assist the Treasurer in financial risk management including risk identification, developing mitigation strategies and transaction executions.
• The Assistant Treasurer Work with the Treasurer to develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, credit rating agencies, and other external stakeholders.
• The Assistant Treasurer will Co-partner with the Treasurer on the development of Key Treasury policies
• The Assistant Treasurer will develop and implement foreign currency risk management strategies and policies to minimize exposure to foreign currency fluctuations
