Summary

The Director Global Brand will play a crucial role in shaping and driving the success of our brand strategy across multiple global markets, product lines and cultures for Simplot's global foodservice and retail divisions. This position will sit on the Marketing Leadership team (MLT)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global brand strategies that ensure a consistent brand experience across all markets.
  • Build and maintain processes for ensuring brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Work with colleagues in international markets to implement the Simplot brand in regionally and culturally effective ways
  • Translate market research and analysis on global consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape into actionable brand initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales to ensure brand alignment and successful execution of brand campaigns and initiatives.
  • Work with the Corporate Brand team as a key stakeholder to ensure overall alignment with the Simplot corporate brand.
  • Consult and collaborate with the Intellectual Property practice of the Simplot Legal Department for trademark, branding, and advertising legal review and compliance
  • Be the primary advocate (and mentor) throughout the organization for the power of brand marketing.
  • Stay up to date with consumer and industry trends as well, as emerging technologies, to identify opportunities for brand innovation and growth.
  • Be responsible for budgets related to brand strategy, ensure budget is properly executed against strategic initiatives and deliver brand KPIs.

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

  • 8+ years related experience and/or training
  • Proven experience in brand management, preferably on a global scale, with a track record of successfully managing and growing foodservice brands.
  • Strong understanding of foodservice and retail marketing, branding principles, consumer behavior, market dynamics and regulatory environment.
  • Familiarity with specific market segments and channels within foodservice sector is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term brand strategies that align with overall business goals.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing brand strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of international markets and cultural nuances and working with diverse markets and adapting brand strategies accordingly highly valuable.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • Results-driven: you enjoy grinding away at issues and brainstorming creative business solutions.
