The IT organization at Brooks is transforming to support the company growth target. Through talents and technologies, the Vision of IT is to be a trusted and strategic Business Partner that empowers Brooks employees, customers and suppliers with efficient processes and innovative digital systems fueled with accurate data and delivered with excellence.

To reinforce our IT leadership team, we are looking for a Director, Global Enterprise Systems. The role will report to the Chief Digital and Information officer and is part of the global IT leadership team. The jobholder will provide overall direction for the company enterprise systems. This includes support, development, and enhancement of our current global enterprise-wide Oracle eBS ERP and as well as the design and build of the IT organization that will own, support, and enhance our future ERP on Oracle Cloud

What You'll Do

  • Based on IT transformation strategy and the business priorities, define and deliver a multi-year Enterprise Systems strategy
  • Socialize and communicate the Enterprise System strategy including the scope, skills and processes of IT Business Operations and obtain the endorsement from the key stakeholders
  • Lead and develop an efficient, effective, and high performing Enterprise Systems team, both integrated to the wider IT organization and is highly effective with the business functions and regions.
  • Design and build the IT organization required to own, support, and enhance the future Global Oracle Cloud solution. This includes the identification of required roles, skills, and process as well as the execution of the knowledge transfer plan
  • Work with the IT Business Partners' on demands prioritization and include approved requests in the IT Business Operations roadmap
  • Manage Enterprise systems budget (Capex and Opex)
  • Lead the support and operation of the existing applications footprint and ensure our SLAs and KPIs are met. This includes managed services
  • Conduct regular Voice of Customers survey and implement actions to improve employee's experience
  • Lead all M&A activities in the applications area
  • Ensure the compliance of our Enterprise systems (e.g. SOX, ITGC)

What You'll Bring

  • 15+ years' experience with 8+ years progressive leadership in Enterprise Systems and Oracle ERP.
  • Experience with end-to- end business processes in a manufacturing, engineering, and distribution business. Experience in high tech manufacturing is a plus
  • Transformational leader with experience in change management and organization development
  • Experience in the implementation of managed services, SLAs and service KPIs
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to track and report progress against established milestones, metrics, and deliverables.
  • Experience with vendor selection and management
  • Experience working directly with external customers, auditors, and regulators.
  • Excellent written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to write with purpose, clarity, and accuracy to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Powerful influencer, able to engage with the business and build consensus in a team,
  • Experience with business continuity planning and disaster recovery plan
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with a proactive approach to communication and escalation management
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global multi-cultural environment and drive harmonization and standardization
  • Familiarity with PLM (Agile), CRM (SFDC) and MES
  • Bachelor's degree in technology (computer science/engineering) is preferred. MBA degree is a plus
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills across a range of technologies
