About the Global Supply Chain Director Role
As a member of the global supply chain team, you will have the opportunity to drive cross-regional enterprise processes by leading updates to product portfolio changes, evaluating supply and demand constraints, and optimizing operational resources to enhance service and product availability. This role will establish and lead process improvements related to Sales & Operations planning. This role reports to the Senior Director Global Supply Chain and is in our corporate location in Glendale, WI. The position can be remote.
What you will do it:
- Establishes, implements and maintains best practice methodologies for Sales & Operations Planning. Aim to improve business outcomes through transparent communication & collaborative decision-making. Evaluate tools and processes to enhance practices. Identify key performance metrics needed to track, trend and inform on SIOP progress as well as identify and mitigate business risks.
- Create, test and deploy an enterprise-level SIOP module focused on components to assist the enterprise and regional teams to drive a higher level of supply assurance, risk management, and advance capacity planning. Components include raw materials, engineered product parts, manufacturing molds and any other element critical to stable and lean manufacturing of Clarios products.
- Drive business and capability improvement in evergreen business processes, especially regional and enterprise level demand forecasting. This should include developing and deploying re-engineering and error-proofing methods.
- Develop and executive a structured process to identify high-impact opportunities to improve inventory management within regions and across the enterprise, looking for ways to unlock working capital consumption levels while protecting customer service levels.
- Support and lead as appropriate enterprise-level initiatives to address supply chain disruptions impacting individual regions or across the enterprise; support and/or drive select 'control tower' activity

- Collaborate closely with regional supply chain organizations, planning teams, and operations to ensure alignment in short and long term inventory planning, product flow timing, and strategies that contribute to Clarios sales objectives and financial performance.
- Engage with finance, product development, commercial and other internal teams to understand all demand and market influences that impact the timing and volume of demand.
- Develop constructive and effective relationships with direct team and cross-functional partners.

What we look for:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, analytics, or mathematics
- Masters in Business Administration with Supply Chain or Material planning focus preferred
- 10+ years of Supply chain mgt and experience including management, forecasting, replenishment, allocation and analysis.
- Expert knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory planning, and S&OP
- Knowledge of industry best practices for analytics and inventory management processes and how they support the long range SIOP practice.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to drive collaboration and mutually support work spirit and culture where people can do their best.
- Ability to influence up to executive leadership using strong critical thinking and change management techniques.
