You will lead marketing across owned channels for Credit Karma Money. You will drive the strategy for email, push and in-product marketing placements to drive key onboarding actions such as account funding, first purchase and driving recurring deposits to the account. You will be responsible for driving awareness and adoption of new features and engagement for millions of Credit Karma Money account holders.
You will be a key part of the Credit Karma Money marketing leadership managing a team of 4-6 and enjoy high visibility with leadership at Credit Karma and playing a key role in driving growth for the company.
We need a dynamic, consumer-centric and results-oriented leader, who will combine strategy and execution to better understand our members and help deliver experiences that meet their needs. We're looking for someone, who gets excited to explore, understand and solve real consumer financial problems - that's what we're in the business of here at Credit Karma.
What You'll Do:
- Establish a new annual vision based on durable, multi-year engagement strategies in partnership with your team and leaders across key functions.
- Innovate the end-to-end member experience across Credit Karma Money and in partnership with our Core Credit Health verticals.
- Drive feature adoption, new feature roll out and product usage for Credit Karma Money through owned marketing channels
- Identify new channels for small-scale testing, leading the experimentation-to-scale process on behalf of the broader owned media marketing function, e.g. SMS & web push
- Drive strategy and execution for growth of existing owned channels opportunities and invest in operational excellence of our channels, technology, and cross-functional relationships
- Collaborate closely with Data Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Copy, Design, and Brand to transform your ideas into compelling and personalized messages and product experiences
- Generate data-driven hypotheses for improving marketing performance, execute A/B tests, and apply knowledge of basic statistics (e.g. sample size, significance) to separate signal from noise
- Drive creative strategy, partnering across the organization to impact landing page generation, multivariate testing, and automation of marketing infrastructure
- Build and lead a strong team of 4-6 growth marketers and establish a regular cycle of training, share outs, and career development/promotion within your team
Basic Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing at a consumer technology company or commensurate experience
- Grown and mentored a team
- Driven overall marketing strategy from forecasting, budgeting, and planning--to resource allocation, prioritization, campaign execution, optimization, and reporting
- Role located in Charlotte, NC
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with owned media and/or lifecycle campaigns
- Strong grasp of the growth marketing landscape with demonstrated experience unlocking or scaling marketing channels
- Exceptional ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and lead cross-functional teams
- A passion for creating transformative consumer experiences, and a track record of implementing such experiences via marketing, products and/or programs
- Excitement and savvy with applying new technologies for next-generation consumer facing product experiences in the fintech space
- Proficiency with SQL and Looker/Tableau (or other reporting dashboard interfaces)
- Advanced Excel skills
