Team Description
As a leader of the Product Led Growth (PLG) motion, this role is responsible for delivering on the growth strategy, pillar metrics, and key functionality to make Pendo the best-executed PLG SaaS product on the market. This role has two growth scrums teams with growth PMs reporting to them. They will report to the VP, Product Growth. They will be responsible for the growth roadmap of these teams. They will lead PLG experiments and a cross-functional team, defining areas of focus each quarter and sprint. They will serve as the growth product leader with PLG Sales to determine the optimal time and ways to integrate sales into our PLG motion to drive efficiencies and conversion.
The PLG team is highly collaborative across departments and works at a faster pace than most other teams always iterating and driving to outcomes. If you like to move fast, focus on improving metrics and you live for an amazing end users experience this is for you.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage 2 Growth PMs
- Manage the overall Growth development roadmap, prioritizing and coordinating across teams to deliver on Growth metrics and goals
- Coordinate cross-functionally to test, learn and iterate, leading the cross-functional experiments team
- Serve as te PLG growth leader on the PLG sales team to drive efficiency, conversion and a great user experience in and out of the product.
- This candidate must be comfortable focusing and delivering on growth metrics that drive the overall growth strategy
- In the first 6-months this role will up-level our experiments efforts with consistent testing, sharing of results and will have the team focusing their efforts on driving experiments that have high impact for PLG.
- In the first 6-months there will be a plan for PLG Sales and PQLs that is scalable, it will never be done but in a good place that we can grow and iterate.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of product and or product growth experience at a SaaS or similar company
- PLG or onboarding experience, new user experience optimization
- Experience iterating on PQLs with the Sales team and a PLG or similar self-serve motion
- Has experience designing, running, and reporting out on experiments
- Strong understanding of product growth strategies and tactics, including user acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth through product growth initiatives
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and departments
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and measure the impact of product growth initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pendo preferred
- Loves continuous learning in their field through books, podcasts, etc.
- Has a passion for Product Led Growth
- Is comfortable moving at a fast pace
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in the following locations is:
Raleigh, NC - USD $191,000 - $237,000
Remote (EST-based) - USD $191,000 - $237,000
New York City, NY - USD $201,000 - USD $247,000
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
