Summary and Scope

We are looking to hire a Director, Growth Strategy on the Media Strategy team.  The primary accountability of the role is to define and build strategy to grow our existing clients through service expansion and addition across both the Rise Interactive and Quad Agency Solutions offerings. They will work closely with the SVP, Media Strategy and GVP, Account Management to identify opportunities to deliver custom go-to-market strategies and solutions for growth-oriented clients.

This individual must have a strong understanding of how to leverage both Rise and Quad Agency Solutions’ capabilities (strategy, data and insights and channel expertise) to bring innovative marketing solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of all growth services and solutions across Rise and Quad
  • Partner with Client Services leadership to identify growth-oriented accounts with opportunity to grow and expand based on business needs
  • Collaborate with SMEs for each growth service in order to create a custom go-to-market strategy based on what the client’s needs and opportunities are
  • Synthesize data, combined with the knowledge of SMEs and media strategists into a presentation that can be delivered to each client
  • Effectively communicate those strategies to the “C” suite and client leadership teams
  • Participate in QBRs and growth-oriented conversations
  • Develop relationships across business units and functional areas within the client.
  • Create innovative market solutions leveraging the variety of services Rise and Quad offer that are customized to individual client needs and challenges beyond the existing scope of work

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years in client-facing roles like Sales, Media, or Account Management
  • Exceptional research, analytic abilities, presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Experience with developing Marketing strategy in a digital and traditional media environment
  • Strategic and creative thinker with proven consulting skills -- always focusing on innovative, but measurable client solutions
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth of accounts via introducing existing or new channels
  • Self-motivated and results-driven team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Google Apps Suite (including Gmail, Google Docs, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) 
  • Willing and able to travel as needed
