Job Summary
In this dynamic and impactful position within the LG Electronics Home Appliance (HA) Division, you will lead the HA team's channel and product planning and execution of strategies to increase sales and overall growth. You will lead and develop growth GTM strategy for the LGEUSA business. By applying your analytical and data-driven mindset, you will also analyze and manage market/ industry trends or data to support confident decision-making in determining strategy in areas such as market opportunity, market penetration strategy, and market development. You will also evaluate and recommend improvements in current sales, operations, and product management areas. In this highly visible position, you will be driving excellence in execution across key customers/key accounts for all categories present in U.S. category brand portfolio and will lead Market Place Operations in HA.
Responsibilities:
GTM Strategy & Execution
• Develop account strategy plan and provide input into channel portfolio management.
• Lead activities on Trade Investment - Account P/L Management / Trade Term Contents / Trade Term Change Management.
• Analyze pre and post promotion planning process in collaboration with the product management team.
• Build out and communicate sellout actions plans.
• Conduct effective industry forecasting and analysis activities.
• Support trade marketing function in developing and implementing strategy in line with brand priorities and plans across customers.
• Define KPI's
• Monitor and communicate obstacles and solutions.
• Manage all internal and external communication effectively.
• Prepare content for key dealer decks and provide directional and strategic consulting for key customer meetings to make best use of results.
• Develop MAP policy and communicate status to customer.
Strategy & Planning
• Develop US based product strategy with PMs to plan out local PRM based on market insight.
• Develop channel strategy to manage or expand business opportunities to maintain a healthy balance.
• Contribute to category marketing plans with customer, category analysis, and promotional strategy.
• Lead development of the Go-To Market strategy for key strategic decision with Sales Team.
• Provide Market Intelligence or customer/consumer insight to discover implication for HA business growth.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of proven success in sales and marketing management with relevant experience in consumer goods; Home Appliance industry experience a plus.
• Demonstrated record of results in analyzing and interpreting data to directly contribute to category analysis, pricing, and success in strategic product and sales planning.
• Well-developed relationship building skills with external partners and internal stakeholders, executive leaders, and team members in the U.S. and in HQ.
• Ability to utilize financial acumen and understanding in P&L with well-developed business planning skills to evaluate and drive results.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 40%), both domestically and internationally, as required.
• Knowledge of trends in the home appliance or channel industry is required.
• Ability to apply leadership skills while adapting to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and inspire teammates and a team of direct reports to achieve set goals.
• Ability to apply sales and product expertise to understand complex and international sales functions, infrastructure, processes, and systems.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
