ADP Ventures is hiring a head of product management with demonstrated experience guiding products to the next level within a startup-like environment. ADP Ventures is an accelerator that incubates and builds HR tech businesses at ADP. We are a team of strategy, product, UX, and engineering professionals working on unlocking new business ideas at ADP.
Success in this role will depend on your ability to turn scarce resources into new business lines. You are comfortable with ambiguity, thoughtful about how best to deploy resources, and ready to challenge yourself and the team in order to produce the best outcomes. You are naturally curious, a technologist who takes an entrepreneur's approach to problems.
Core elements of your DNA: Product & Technology, Business Strategy, User Experience, Operations. Significant experience across all four is critical for success in this role. We wear many hats in Ventures.

Things You'll Do:

• Lead a team of product managers delivering product and business outcomes
• Define product roadmaps leveraging deep and broad market research
• Integrate usability studies, user research, competitive landscape analysis, and market analysis on an ongoing basis to ensure features satisfy customer needs while maintaining a cohesive user experience.
• Develop, track, and communicate metrics to the Ventures team and executive leaders.
• Partner with a general manager to define, build, and grow new business lines.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and service to ensure successful go-to-market execution.

Qualifications:

• 10-12+ years of experience in product management in an Agile/Scrum environment with some direct people leadership; demonstrated success creating products from conception to launch
• Ability to go deep and lead the software development lifecycle; Strong technical capabilities and experience working closely with engineers on user stories and design
• Commercial/business experience; understand the intersect of go-to-market and growth implications from product decisions
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to quickly understand concepts, technical or otherwise, and the ability to communicate them to a variety of audiences.

Bonus points if you have:

• Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience in strategy consulting
• Experience in product strategy consulting at a consulting firm or in an investment context (i.e. venture capital)
• Experience with client facing/consumer facing products
• A blend of tech startup and enterprise experience
• HR technology, compliance, payroll or payment solutions experience
• Business development experience
