Job Description

The primary duties of the HRBP Network Director are:

  • Manages the daily activities of a team of HR Manager and Business Partners/Generalists assigned to support one or more key business lines. Recruits, develops, coaches and manages performance in a manner that results in highly skilled, knowledgeable, and engaged HR professionals capable of working with all levels of associates and management.
  • Proactively seeks to understand the business of assigned partners, including knowledge of the industry, the jobs, and the business plan, including strategic imperatives and related tactics to more effectively offer guidance and support. Shares that knowledge and understanding with subordinate staff.
  • Provides strategic HR consulting and problem resolution to the management teams related to employee issues.

  • Demonstrates an unbiased and neutral viewpoint in decision-making and problem resolution to ensure that risk to the organization is mitigated.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to lead to better business decisions and outcomes.
  • Oversees the operational support for standard HR routines including but not limited to progressive discipline, terminations, performance improvement plans and manager/employee conflicts.
  • Applies knowledge of HR metrics and uses data appropriately to assess and influence business decisions.
  • Leverages existing HR best practices and evaluates processes to make recommendations for efficiencies and improvement.
  • Ensures that Managers are trained and receive necessary communication on new and existing employment related policies and procedures.
  • Partners with the HR Engagement Department to provide feedback from Associate Engagement Surveys (AES) and action planning with client groups.
  • Reviews and benchmarks the internal and external environment, maintaining leading-edge knowledge of HR issues and seeking opportunities where HR can add value.
  • Travels, as required, to meet the needs of the business.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of Human Resources experience including 5+ years of leadership or management in HR.
  • Professional designations, e.g. CCP, PHR, SPHR, etc. preferred.
  • Experience in providing HR Services in a multi-state organization is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of applicable HR federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Previous experience using a cloud-based HRIS system is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability influencing employee engagement.
  • Ability to apply deductive and inductive reasoning, as needed, to address both standard and non-standards situations.
  • Ability to influence people and direction through effective interpersonal interactions.
  • Ability to research and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations and plans of action.
  • Ability to lead organizational HR projects.
  • Strong Microsoft Office (excel, Word, etc.) skills.
