RingCentral is looking for an experienced Director, HR Business Partner who will partner with leaders and managers and provide guidance and support on a wide variety of people-related and organizational initiatives. You will partner with Product & Technology business unit and help close the gap with managers on executing programs designed to attract, develop, reward, and retain our employees. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to senior leaders and managers on a wide variety of people-related and organizational initiatives including talent and rewards planning, change management strategy, and employee engagement solutions 

  • Bring critical thinking to help leaders with the development of their management capability, employee development, rewards, and retention ultimately resulting in a higher level of manager and employee engagement 

  • Collaborate and engage with partners across the HR function, your assigned client group, and other support functions to deliver the best possible outcomes that build value for our business, customers, and employees 

  • Be the consultant to help managers build their skills in the business of people management 

  • Use data and analytics to proactively identify trends and to help inform and influence decisions  

  • Work on critical projects that impact the employee experience, growth, and retention 

  • Leverage best practices and identify opportunities for efficiency and scale 

Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of HR Business Partner experience supporting employees and managers in global multinational companies

  • Experience working for technology and/or high-growth company

  • Experience supporting VP+ leaders of Product and Technology, Cloud Ops, and Software Engineering organizations

  • Excellent project management skills with proven ability to design and implement processes and solutions that drive business results 

  • Strong partner management skills that include the ability to effectively consult, negotiate, resolve conflict, and influence change 

  • Demonstrated success in tying people-based solutions in service of business strategy and crafting value through people that impacts results for the business 

  • Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations 

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills combined with demonstrated problem-solving ability 

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field

If you are hired in California, the compensation range for this position is between $180,000 and $200,000 for full-time employees in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
