Director, HR (M&A)

About the Role:
In this role as Director, HR (M&A), you will:
- Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures Pipeline: Your hands-on leadership will steer all people-related activities across the M&A pipeline including project kick-offs, due diligence and integration phases. Managing multiple deals concurrently, you'll craft and execute project plans with cross-functional, global stakeholders to meet deadlines and monitor key risks.
- Due Diligence: Leading HR due diligence efforts, you'll orchestrate data collection from target companies to uncover challenges, risks and synergies. Your collaboration with legal teams will navigate HR-related legal matters, from contracts to compliance. Partnering with finance, you'll uncover financial implications such as compensation structures & benefits.
- Insights & Recommendations: You will distill complex due diligence findings into clear, concise reports with key insights and recommendations equipping leaders to navigate decision making with clarity & confidence.
- Integration Partnership: Working alongside HR subject matter experts, you'll shape integration plans spanning immigration, recruiting, benefits, compensation, payroll, time and attendance, retirement plans, stock/equity, HR compliance, employee relations, organization design, diversity & inclusion, talent management, performance management and more. You will help influence onboarding strategies and change management plans to ensure a great experience for our new team members.
- Continuous Improvement: You drive for efficiency by standardizing and streamlining HR M&A processes that deliver value. Your pursuit of improvement will incorporate regular retrospectives & stakeholder feedback gathering to improve & evolve our M&A playbook.
- People Leadership: You continue to elevate the M&A COE team through servant leadership - emphasizing coaching, feedback, development and a great team culture. About You:
You are a fit for this role of Director, HR (M&A), if you background includes;
- Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources or a related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in managing large-scale projects; M&A experience preferred
- Strong project management skills within fast-paced environments, handling tight deadlines and global stakeholders.
- Must be adept at quickly assessing and changing plans/priorities and working simultaneously on numerous projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of successfully coaching and guiding others during highly ambiguous situations.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across a highly matrixed, global environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to absorb, analyze and process large amounts of information and synthesize quickly
- Curious mindset who thrives on finding answers and solving problems
- Strong business & financial acumen with ability to grasp broad business implications and dependencies, including HR's downstream effects.
- Ability to explain complex ideas and processes simply (verbally and written) with a broad audience (SMEs through senior leadership)
- Excellent team player who cares about team culture and taking on new challenges
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel)
