Baxter plans to spin off our ~$5B Kidney Care segment into an independent, publicly traded company. The new standalone entity will leverage our nearly 70-year legacy in acute therapies and home and in-center dialysis to provide best-in-class care to the people we serve. With its own investment priorities and enhanced management focus, the company will be better positioned to pursue growth opportunities and invest in innovation. As a Director of HR Operations, you will Develop and implement HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of business objectives and achievement of desired organizational culture

What you'll be doing

  • Drives and designs overall HR Operations strategy including technology, process and governance.
  • Drives the HRIS selection process and roadmap for the new Company. This includes identifying, prioritizing and driving key functionalities to roll out for users
  • Design Future state organization for HR operations including operating models/mechanisms. Establishes governance process for HR operations (including data governance)
  • Advise with management and provides expertise on a variety of HR and business related issues, both strategically and operationally.
  • Continually monitors and assesses the effectiveness of the HR Operation's business model and team dynamics and leads efforts to realign/refocus as needed
  • Continuously monitor and understand industry trends, initiates discussions on relevance to the company and drive initiatives to implement these trends
  • Networks with peers and leaders in other organizations to bring best practices
  • Partners with other HR leaders to plan and implement changes to HR systems and processes.
  • Drive partnership, as needed with our HR service providers for Application Management Services to ensure the services are aligned with the roadmap as well as business priorities
  • Be the Compliance Lead and provide support for audits partnering with internal and external Auditors
  • Leads HR Operations activities associated with acquisitions, divestitures and other organizational changes
  • Leads contingent labor activities across the company and provide thought leadership
What will you'll bring :

  • BA or BS in an HR field preferred. Should have at least 10 years of HR experience that includes at least 5 years supporting HR Operations.
  • Strong leadership and influence skills, and the ability to inspire change
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and to influence decision making of others
  • Strong project management skills and results orientation
  • Good business acumen and judgment
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a salary range of $160,000 to $240,000 and also includes an annual incentive bonus and equity target. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, business line, and geographic/office location.
