Current Need:
McKesson is seeking an experienced Director of HRIS Configurations, which is an integral role within our Experience Design, Systems and Insights organization. This role is responsible for intake, design, testing and deployment of system functionality for Workday, Visier & ServiceNow. You will lead a team of experienced configuration specialists. You will be responsible for delivering high quality HR systems that meet the requirements of the enterprise while ensuring system compliance, data privacy and SOX adherence. You will partner with our McKesson Technology organization to ensure downstream integrations are successful. You will work across all areas of HR as well as across all McKesson businesses including our international teams. The role provides career growth opportunities and a fun working environment.

This is a hybrid role based in either Alpharetta, GA or Irving, TX. Ideal candidate will reside within a commutable distance to our Alpharetta, GA or Irving TX office with the expectation to be onsite 1-2 times per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of configuration specialists responsible for HR information systems and tools
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of HR systems, including Amelia, Glint, ServiceNow, Workday, Visier, Tableau, PowerBI, and others
- Develop team members' skills and capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve HR processes through technology and automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand HR information needs and design new or modify existing systems to meet changing requirements
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly HR systems and tools that meet the needs of the organization
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to HR information systems and technology
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate and implement new HR technologies as needed
- Monitor and manage the team's performance, ensuring goals and objectives are met
- Serve as escalation lead for system issues, outages, and maintenance windows
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and effective communication
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 12+ years of Information Systems, Information Technology, and/or HRIS experience AND 4+ years of leadership experience.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in system administration, HRIS, related field or equivalent experience.
Critical Skills:
- Strong commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
- Material knowledge and significant experience with HR information systems, including Amelia, Glint, ServiceNow, Workday, Visier, Tableau, PowerBI, and others
- Prioritization and project management skills, with the ability to develop an order and implementation of new processes and systems
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and develop a team of configuration specialists
- Proficiency in designing and implementing innovative and user-friendly processes through technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for automation and digital advancements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to HR information systems and technology

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$126,000 - $210,000
