Director, Information Technology
Job Description
What you'll do:
- Leading and managing the IT department to ensure the effective delivery of IT services and support to the organization.
- Evaluate existing and potential new systems for business needs and enhancements.Â
- Developing and implementing IT strategies and policies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.Â
- Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.Â
- Developing and managing IT budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support business needs.
- Ensuring the security and integrity of the organization's data and IT systems, including implementing cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery plans.Â
- Collaborating with other departments to understand their technology needs and ensure that IT solutions are aligned with their requirements.Â
- Leading the evaluation and selection of third-party vendors and technology solutions, ensuring that they meet the organization's needs and are cost-effective.Â
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and internal departments.Â
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT, and sharing this knowledge with team members.Â
- Leading and developing IT staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to support the organization's needs.
- Perform statistical modeling and descriptive analysis to interpret data and derive actionable insights to support business need
- Analyze gaps and trends in the data and report on and recommend solutions based on findings
- Develop business intelligence dashboard to measure performance metrics, business drivers, and present it to business partners
- Work with Rowan implementation partners to support and perform ongoing maintenance of the company's NetSuite system as well as lead future improvements and integration projects.
Experience you'll bring:
- Experience working with multi-site retail locations, ideally more than 50 locations and eCommerce (omnichannel). Brick and mortar, service oriented retail operator. Health and wellness space / service based model.Â
- 10 years of experience in IT, with a proven track record of managing IT systems and infrastructure.
- Prior experience with Netsuite required.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Proficient knowledge of Zenoti (booking platform), NetSuite and Celigo, Shopify, Google Suite
- Prior experience working with business analysis and reporting tools and inventory management software.
- Experience with tech platforms to facilitate appointment driven models and use of data for selling.
- Familiarity with a variety of technology platforms and solutions, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
- Understanding of IT project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to execute IT initiatives.
- Experience managing IT budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support business needs.Â
- Knowledge of cybersecurity threats and best practices, with the ability to develop and implement effective cybersecurity measures.Â
- Familiarity with compliance regulations, and the ability to ensure that IT systems comply with these regulations.Â
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop IT staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to support the organization's needs.Â
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and to collaborate effectively with other departments to understand their technology needs and ensure that IT solutions are aligned with their requirements.
Compensation
- The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $130k/yr-$145k/yr
