CO Salary Range: USD 110,000.00 - 140,000.00 per year

Job Summary:

The Director Inside Sales is responsible for managing and supporting the Inside Sales team, developing the team's skills necessary to be successful, and maintaining a sound relationship with customers and vendors to ensure the integrity and profitability at QED. The Director Inside Sales is a pivotal role in a company's sales structure, responsible for overseeing the internal sales team. This position involves strategizing and implementing effective sales techniques to enhance team performance and drive sales growth. The director plays a critical role in setting targets, managing resources, and ensuring the team aligns with the company's overall sales objectives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train and develop a high performing inside sales team.
  • Monitor analytics and dashboards for improved decision-making.
  • Work closely with VP Sales and Sales Operations for operational success.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their future business needs.
  • Responsible for the design, implementation and execution of operational procedures for the various programs, partnering with other departments as needed.
  • Maximize sales improvement by guiding Inside Sales leadership to ensure sales and profitability targets are met and or exceed.
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop strategies, identify best practices and recommend improvements to systems and processes.
  • Work closely with the sales management team to discuss and evaluate opportunities to improve performance at each level in the organization by leveraging sales tools and system capabilities.
  • Effectively manages sales budget for the Inside Sales team.
  • Participate in the development of and support of target market strategies with Account Managers and local sales leaders.
  • Partner with Logistics leadership to drive collaborative working relationship between sales and operations functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs implementing measures to improve sales productivity and effectiveness.
  • Others duties as assigned.

Minimum work experience requirements:

  • 5+ years electrical distribution industry with experience leading multimillion dollars in sales
  • 3-5 years Inside Sales experience - electrical distribution industry preferred
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience
  • Proven leadership and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Above average proficiency in M/S - Excel, Word, PPT
  • Good and dependable mathematic, verbal, and written communication skills

Starting Salary: $110,000 - $140,000
