The pay range is $125,600.00 - $226,100.00

A role on the Enterprise Insights team means you will be a champion for our current and future guests, inspiring the organization to act in their best interest. Under your leadership, your team will help partners build consumer-centric strategies and activations.
As an Insights Director, you will report to the Senior Director, Experience Insights and be responsible for understanding evolving consumer behavior in retail. You and your team will develop insights to gain a deeper understanding of the consumer shopping journey. Additionally, you will lead efforts to understand the consumer experiences provided by both current and emerging competitors. The collective insights from your team will shape the future direction of Target's guest experience.
You will work with your team to ensure the business problem/opportunity is clearly articulated, build a hypothesis-driven framework, scope, and ensure the best method is employed given business need and constraints (e.g., budget, time, trade-offs), and communicate insights in a manner that impacts business choices. You will also be responsible for guiding and developing future Insights leaders.

About You:
- Minimum 10 years of consumer or shopper insights
- Behavioral science or behavioral economics experience
- Highly curious and asks questions to seek clarity
- Comfortable working with data
- Credible functional leader whose functional perspective is respected and whose point of view is sought out
- Translates research and data into clear narratives, making recommendations based on a solid understanding of partners needs and business context
- An effective coach, mentor, and developer of people
