Job Summary

The Director, Investor Relations is responsible to assist in the investor relations processes to obtain fair valuation by proactively communicating the company's mission, vision and value to external markets, sell-side analysts, shareholders, and potential new shareholders. The Investor Relations team works directly with senior leadership to communicate strategic initiatives of the company and gather and deliver critical feedback from investors and the market.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

• Serve as one of the primary points of contact with the investment community in responding to inquiries and relaying feedback and perceptions to the VP of IR and senior management
• Quarterly analysis of key internal and external metrics to support the drafting of the quarterly earnings release
• Support earnings preparation process, including earnings release and script draft, interaction with internal teams in obtaining data and content, Q&A draft and process management
• Contribute to the management of investor targeting programs, develop and maintain investor presentations, ensuring IR materials and IR website content is up-to-date and accurate in accordance with regulatory and exchange related reporting requirements
• Contribute to the planning and management of, and actively participate in, investor events
• Develop strong relationships and credibility with key internal teams including, finance, legal, strategy and functional business areas, to build a better understanding of the company and to execute job responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
• Monitoring ownership trends by investors on a regular basis including updates on their investment thesis
• Tracking market conditions, opinions, attitudes, and reactions to the company as they affect the value of the shares.
• Contribute to the management of the annual shareholder meeting, including maintaining positive relationship with proxy solicitor
• Contract for and maintain relationships with capital markets and intelligence system resources in support of the IR program
• Review internal and external presentations created and maintained by PR/Marketing to ensure public disclosures meet all regulatory and exchange requirements
• Research and provide commentary regarding current events within the market that may affect the company stock
• Benchmark company performance with peer group companies
• Create and manage annual IR operating budget
• Participation in other corporate analysis and/or projects as needed.
