As the Director of Enterprise Services, you will be leading the architecture, design, development, and product ownership of the Office 365 & Azure tenant space – including AAD/IAM, collaboration solutions, and endpoint management. Aya’s infrastructure is 100% cloud based.
The teams in this group currently include: Client Operations – a team of 5 covering AAD/IAM, Office 365 & all things “collaboration & identity”; and Endpoint Operations – a team of 5 covering Intune, Defender & all things relating to endpoints. Security & compliance are also baked into each teams’ roles, responsibilities, and deliverables – we leverage EMS E5 licensing and continue to push further into the security offerings that Microsoft provides. There are opportunities to enhance/advance our processes in these areas.
These are 2 strong teams who require a leader who can be an Advocate for a Digital Workplace and improving user experience/productivity via effective utilization of existing technology. A leader who can also provide a complete vision for implementing, maintaining, and improving a Zero Trust architecture & the security practices around it.
This position will interact directly with the support teams, the compliance team, application developers, other infrastructure architects, cloud providers, as well as other system groups to gather technical requirements, resolve complex technical issues, implement enterprise/ cloud-based solutions to support the business and in-house technology teams.
Organizational (project/workflow/cultural identity) leadership & communication should be a strong focus of this role.

Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD services e.g. AD Domain Services, GPOs, AD Certificate Services, MFA, SSO, Managed Identity, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Zero Trust principles.
- Microsoft 365 configuration and administration: MS Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Forms, Planner, Flow, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of End User Devices, Data, and Access, along with networking design, key vendors, and offerings that shape the end user space.
- Unified Device Management (UEM or MDM): SCCM, Intune/AutoPilot, Airwatch, JAMF, or SOTI
- Virtual Desktop and Virtual App Delivery: VMWare, Citrix, WaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop, Nutanix Frame
- OS Support: Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS, Android
- Strong drive for continuous improvement and building defensible, resilient infrastructure.

- Passion for Service Delivery, Customer Service, User Experience, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong background in configuring/managing Office 365 and Azure cloud resources.
- 7+ years’ experience in a system/network engineering role
- Strong understanding of all the infrastructure components and how they work - “A generalist”
- Database experience a plus, including knowledge of MSSQL
- Ability to respond to escalated requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Demonstratable vendor management and enterprise licensing experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $180,000 to $240,000.
The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
