Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Director, IT Program Management to join our growing team and help lead our business and technology programs involving Telecom Billing Support Systems stacks, Operational Support Systems stacks, field operations, network engineering, and the transformational journeys of these traditional systems toward cutting edge technologies and platforms. You will report directly to the Chief Information Officer. In this role, you will be challenged with the opportunity to re-imagine every aspect of the customer experience from sales and ordering through fulfillment, assurance, and the billing lifecycle. 

As a Director, IT Program Management, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Program Oversight: Lead small to complex business initiatives across all phases of the telecommunications customer lifecycle to deliver best in class customer experience. Collaborate with interfacing teams, define target dates for testing and ensure end to end robustness of technology and business transformation plans and programs
  • Change Management: Lead and manage all aspects of business change associated with the program, ensuring minimal disruption and smooth transitions. Work with business partners to build real product simplification plans that enable business and technology transformation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with partners, customers, and internal teams to keep them informed and engaged throughout the program lifecycle. Manage communications across business and technology teams to deliver world class transformation at scale.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly report on program status, milestones, and challenges to senior management and other key stakeholders. Identify potential issues and escalations early, devising and implementing effective solutions. Assess project risk, provide accurate timelines, proactively act, and ensure robust development performance.
  • Flawless Delivery: Ensure the flawless execution of the program, meeting all quality, time, and budget requirements. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment for successful program delivery. Adopt Agile, DevOps and other enablers to improve the effectiveness of project delivery.
  • Budget Management. Manage operational and program level budgets in-year and across multi-year programs
  • Drive Innovation. Track industry trends and leverage to drive innovation and solution excellence across various functional domains

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in program management, particularly in technology and business transformation
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and complex projects
  • Experience in leading large programs spanning technology, business operations and customer life cycle
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical information
  • Experience managing a team of employees and consultants to drive solution delivery
  • Visionary leader who excels in a dynamic environment
  • Project management skills
  • AGILE development experience 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Highly adept at managing multiple priorities, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects successfully
  • Ability to build strong relationships and your commitment to excellence
