Director, IT Service --Remote

Position Purpose:
Tech Support Services (TSS) provide in person and remote front line IT support to approximately 90,000 users across the country
Build a strong and vital team with a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence and a passion for customer service.
As a key member the Tech Support Services Leadership team define and execute strategic initiatives with relevant IT teams, to identify and deliver on key initiatives including improved efficiency and effectiveness of service to meet Centene's needs.
Drive End Point and Employee life cycle management and support, including Access Management provisioning for new hires.
Deliver Site IT infrastructure support including Office/Cubical setup, Print , Audio Visual (Conference Rooms) , Network, Telephony and walkup Tech Centers.
Own TSS wide End Point supply chain management of personal computers and peripherals (predominantly Laptops) including Forecasting, procurement, inventory management, PC Refresh, new hire and termination retrievals via 3 Logistics Centers.
Directs strategy and plan for the implementation and development of policies and procedures to ensure consistently high levels of quality and availability
Defines and maintains service operations key performance indicators (KPI) metrics
Shares knowledge and develops staff capabilities to strengthen understanding of service operations, business issues and best practices; evaluates and defines implications to IT
Manages the budget for service operations, supports reporting and forecasting activities
Mentors and guides staff
Shares knowledge and develops staff capabilities to strengthen understanding of business issues and best practices
Develops and communicates organizational objectives; inspires and motivates team members to achieve results
Directs the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide leadership, technical guidance and coaching
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
Education/Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of related experience, including prior management experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills:
Strong background in managing teams who support end user technologies, PC Hardware, Microsoft office, basic network skills, print conference room/Audio Visual

ITIL Foundations v3 preferred
