Director, Lightbend Global Partner Program
We are looking for an experienced partnership leader with a demonstrable record of success to grow our worldwide partner program. In this role, you will be a key part of Lightbend’s go-to-market strategy, leading the Lightbend Partner Network. In this role, you help build and execute the strategy for attracting and retaining Global System Integrator (GSI), Regional SI, Hyperscaler / Marketplace, Reseller, and Technology partners to help Lightbend scale and meet its growth goals.
This is an opportunity to join a quickly growing team. You will make a significant impact from day one and will report directly to the VP of Business Development and Alliances.
Responsibilities
- Evolve and help implement the partner program benefits and incentives, and own partner governance and program integrity. This program addresses Lightbend’s entire partner ecosystem of GSIs, SIs, Technology, Reseller/ Distributors, and hyperscaler / marketplace partners.
- Work with our partners and internal teams (sales, customer success, enablement, marketing, legal, product, and engineering) to optimize joint selling and marketing strategies for driving revenue through the partner ecosystem and driving incremental revenue
- Develop, monitor, and adjust the strategy, ideal partner profiles, and practices to continuously improve results.
- Establish clearly defined goals for each partner relationship, and update and maintain proper reporting metrics and funnel management
- Secure cross-functional alignment with stakeholders on key programs.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives, including working with product and marketing to evolve our partner portal (Allbound) and partner tools.
- Enable partners through assets and relationship management
- Create program materials, including guides, policies, and infographics
- Oversee co-marketing campaigns, including the production of collateral, webinars, and events
- Be accountable for sourced and influenced revenue, partner success KPIs, and retention and integration adoption
- Be willing to perform hands-on work
Requirements:
- 5 years of SaaS B2B enterprise software business development or sales experience, 2+ years of SaaS partnership experience
- Strategic and analytical thinker who understands technology and business strategy
- Clear communicator with an ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders
- Strong executive presence with proven ability to present and manage a wide variety of relationships
- Proven record of achieving targets and driving revenue in a high-growth, rapidly evolving organization
- Passionate about technology and relationships
- Willing to travel
- Location: Remote/ East Coast USA strongly preferred
