Job Description
NCQA is hiring and we are adding a Director of Market Insights a newly created position to our growing organization. Working closely with the Product Development and Marketing teams, the qualified candidate will oversee market research initiatives which includes developing market research plans aligned with Executive, sales, and other corporate goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing research and analyses of all external stakeholders, market trends, competitive landscape, threats/opportunities.
- Conduct focused research on product/portfolio offerings related to use in value-based care contracting and incentives to support the development of a long-term organizational vision and strategy for value-based care.
- Create processes and forums to collect and synthesize market insights from operations, sales, executive, and other channels and to share market insights to inform strategy, priorities, and stakeholder segmentation and engagement.
- Provide inputs to align goals and resource allocation company-wide with strategic priorities.
- Present findings, projections and recommended actions
- Ideate, inform market requirements, and provide Voice of Customer (VoC) for development and launch of related products and services.
- Support and guide senior executive decision-making processes.
- Support and guide related marketing and sales strategies and execution.
Qualifications
- Degree in business or related field, MHA or MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in business administration, management consulting or strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Outstanding research and analytical abilities.
- Project management skills.
- Strong leadership skills
- Must be ok with up to 25% travel
Preference given to candidates with:
- 3-5 years of experience working on value-based care. Experience can include contracting with payers and providers in operational or product role.
