Director, Market Operations
Reporting to the Regional VP of Market Operations, the Director, Market Operations, will be responsible to provide strategic operational market oversight including but not limited to in-market growth, market P&L management, medical economics, enrollment and engagement, team culture, and stakeholder management. The role will play an integral part in Strive and in our current and expanding market operations. The candidate will need to be comfortable interacting externally with physician leaders, executive level partner contacts, and internally with business and clinical leaders. The Director, Market Operations will oversee business operations, clinical operations, operational excellence, network development, provider partnerships, key stakeholder engagement and patient engagement and satisfaction
Essential Functions
- Oversee market business operations, work closely with Regional Clinical Director to ensure operational excellence.
- Execute on contract terms and Strive’s operating model, ensuring topline revenue goals, cost management, key stakeholder management, and growth KPIs are met and exceeded Â
- Represent Strive externally with local health systems, provider groups, health plan partners and nephrology groups driving stakeholder engagement
- Work with the Regional Clinical Director to set utilization goals, operational and quality metrics, and business needs to drive high value performance and an efficient operating modelÂ
- Provide leadership and P&L management over the market, collaborating with regional and market clinical and operational leaders Â
- Hire, train, manage, and develop in-market operations leaders (business operations, network integration, stakeholder and more) while promoting a metrics-driven culture Â
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience leading high-performing team in consulting, business, healthcare, or related services.
- 3-5 years’ experience developing relationships with key stakeholders in a health system, provider organization and with large Payors.
- Exposure to value-based models of care delivery; demonstrates a strong knowledge of the national payer and risk-bearing provider landscapeÂ
- Demonstrates a metrics-driven approach and can establish and utilize KPIs to improve market performance with an eye towards exceptional delivery
- Can easily articulate key levers that influence cost center performance, adverse event performance, and drive strategic partnerships around engagement
- 3-5 years’ experience managing a P&L within a healthcare delivery setting, ideally in a value-based environmentÂ
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or related field

- Demonstrated track record of building and mentoring highly collaborative care teams
- Strategic vision with the ability to execute in a highly matrixed org structure
- Demonstrated leadership presence and maturity
- Impeccable judgment and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possesses an understanding of challenges and opportunities in kidney care space, including complexities of CKD and ESRD patient cohorts, regulatory and reimbursement environment, industry, and market dynamics
- Executive-level presentation skills and ability to handle high-level client interactions
- Based in market
